The application of radiofrequency waves to the skin heats the tissue to different depths, making it possible to treat all skin types. When the elastin and collagen fibres are heated, they contract and move closer to each other which creates the tightening effect.

The applicators work with 2 different frequencies, tailored to the respective indication. A frequency of 1 MHz works deeper and is therefore ideal for the thighs, abdomen and arms, while a frequency of 2 MHz works less deep and is therefore ideal for the face.

The technology allows to manage the delivered energy through a permanent variation of the polarity. RF current flows are maximised by constantly changing the polarity of the electrodes in relation to each other, resulting in a denser and more even transfer of RF energy to the treated area to ensure optimal temperature throughout the treatment.

Answer: The immediate freshness effect is visible right after the treatment and lasts for several days—perfect for events. However, by stimulating collagen synthesis, the treatment also has a long-term effect and permanently improves the skin structure.

Question 2: Will I be red or swollen after the treatment?

Answer: No. Our radio frequency and light treatments are non-invasive. You can leave the Stahlgiesserei practice immediately afterwards and continue with your daily routine. You will simply look refreshed, not “treated.”
